This Privacy Policy explains how Halmob Yapay Zeka Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our PerfumeDairy mobile application ("App"). PerfumeDairy is a personal fragrance and perfume collection tracker that lets you catalog your bottles, log when you wear them, build a scent history, and keep a wishlist. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

• Fragrance Data: Details you add about your fragrances, such as name, house/brand, notes, bottle size, status, and favorites.
• Wear Logs: Entries you record about when you wear a fragrance, including date, occasion, season, weather, mood, rating, compliments, and notes.
• Wishlist Items: Fragrances you want to try or buy, along with priority.
• Preferences: Onboarding answers and settings such as your collection goal, tracking depth, units, default tab, and reminder preferences.
• Purchase Information: When you subscribe or make purchases through the App, payment information is processed by Apple's App Store, not by us directly.

Information Collected Automatically

• Anonymous Identifier: On first launch the App generates a random anonymous identifier (UUID) stored in your device Keychain. It is used to associate your subscription and usage analytics with your installation. It cannot identify you personally.
• Usage Analytics: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, and actions taken (for example, adding a fragrance or logging a wear), along with your app version and subscription status.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Store and organize your fragrance collection, wear history, and wishlist locally on your device
• Generate personalized recommendations and insights based on your collection and wear history
• Send you optional reminders and notifications if you enable them
• Process and manage your in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Analyze anonymous usage patterns to enhance the user experience
• Communicate with you about updates or changes to the App

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the App:

• Adapty: Manages subscriptions, paywalls, and in-app purchases. Adapty receives your anonymous identifier and subscription events to process and validate purchases. See Adapty's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store: Processes all payments and subscription transactions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Privacy

• Local Storage: All your fragrance data, wear logs, wishlist, preferences, and history are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
• Anonymous Analytics: We use a random anonymous identifier only to measure app usage and improve the service. This identifier cannot identify you personally.
• Security Measures: The anonymous identifier is stored in the device Keychain, and we implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
• Data Retention: Your collection and history remain on your device under your control. We do not retain this data on our servers.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your fragrance data and history are:

• Stored locally on your device only
• Never shared with marketing partners or data brokers
• Only shared with third parties when legally required

The only exceptions are:

• Service Providers: With the third-party vendors described above (Adapty and Apple) solely to process subscriptions and, in the case of anonymous analytics, to measure app usage.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

Device Permissions

• Notifications (optional): If you enable wear reminders in Settings, the App requests permission to send you local notifications. You can disable them at any time in the App or in your device settings. The App does not require access to your camera, photos, location, or contacts.

Apple App Store Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

PerfumeDairy is free to use with certain limits and offers an optional premium subscription that unlocks unlimited fragrances, unlimited wishlist items, unlimited wear history, and advanced insights.

• Payments are processed through your Apple ID via the App Store.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your App Store account settings.
• If you cancel a subscription, your account reverts to the free plan and your locally stored data remains on your device.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its policies.

Your Choices and Rights

• Access, update, or delete your fragrance data, wear logs, and wishlist anytime through the App
• Reset your onboarding and preferences, or delete all app data, through the App settings
• Enable or disable reminder notifications through the App settings or your device settings
• Opt out of analytics through your device settings

GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and the right to data portability. Because your collection and history are stored locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly within the App. For any request involving our service providers (Adapty for subscriptions), contact us at the email below.

CCPA (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. You can delete your data directly within the App or contact us for assistance.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
